This was a quick, enjoyable read. Cool creatures. While many novels might weave multiple storylines together, Chimer’a Blood follows a linear storyline and a wildly adventurous path. Unexpected twists. Straight to the point. Likable characters. A budding romance. I enjoyed it, and now my 12-year-old son is reading it and really enjoying it. Great job!
A fun, entertaining romp through an interesting world with two characters I absolutely loved to read about! If you like post-apocalyptic or dystopian fiction, cool animal mashups, romance, and banter, this is the book for you!
Loved it! What a great book! I loved the characters and the storyline. Haven and Ashton are a great duo. They find their way through overwhelming obstacles, just to find themselves in a bigger mess. The ending left me feeling satisfied yet wanting to know what happens next.
